Michael Jordan Blogs

"Michael Jordan, the famous basketball superstar Michael Jordan is a former NBA star’s signature shoes, can be said that the greatest basketball player ever, Michael Jordan. Shoes 23 has launched the brand for the first Nike Jordan I was released in March 1985." -- POSITIVE. I am happy to hear that some people recognize that he was an aweosme basketball player and also launched a very popular clothing line and was very successful.

"Lebron James’s triple-double against the Pistons on Tuesday moved him into the third slot among active players, behind Jason Kidd (104) and Grant Hill (29). James has 28. Additionally, with 23 triple-doubles of at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, he topped Michael Jordan (22) and ranks third behind Magic Johnson (40) and Larry Bird (29)." --NEGATIVE. Although another person has topped Jordan in one aspect, Jordan will be forever remembered as someone that never gave up despite of his setbacks.

Post 6; Why I Chose Jordan

I chose Michael Jordan because of the fact that he never gave up and always had faith in himself. His story relates to me when taking into consideration that I am saving up money to buy a Charger. Even though I sometimes get discouraged and feel as though I'll never have enough to buy my dream car, I always keep saving and never give up cause I know I will someday achieve my goal and all of my hard work will pay off :] Jordan sparked my interest when I heard he didn't make the cut during high school and that he kept playing. He is now very well-known for his skills and dedication. I will continue to be positive and work hard to reach my goal of getting my favorite car :D

Post 5; Jordan's Way of Overcoming His Setbacks

Even though Michael Jordan did not make the varsity basketball team at his high school, he didn't give up. He attended several basketball camps the following summer in order to improve his skills and become a better player with high hopes of making the varsity team the next year. Jordan's love for the game kept him going even though he suffered a huge setback by not making the team his first time. He never gave up and accepted the fact that he wasn't as skilled as he could be. Instead, Jordan worked to better himself and become a stronger person on and off the court. The basketball camps and training with his brother did much for him in improving his game.

Post 4; Jordan Blog Adversity

Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Wilmington Laney's High School where he was first know for his skills as a baseball player. He was rejected at first and did not play on his school's varsity basketball team. His coach at the time believed that more playing time on the junior varisty team would be more beneficial to him. On the junior varisty team during his sophomore year, Jordan averaged 25 points per game. Jordan was five foot, eleven inches at this time. Over the summer, Jordan attended several basketball camps to improve his skills. His brother, Larry, assisted him in learning the significance of competition in basketball. Larry would play one on one games with Jordan. By the time fall had arrived, Jordan had grown to six foot, three inches and was confident in making the varisty team. As he had hoped, he made the varsity squad as a junior and was very valuable to the team.
